Lara & Jasmin

Lara is a social worker and trauma educator.
Her heart and home are in Zanzibar. She dreamed of creating a place of empowerment – for children & women, for anyone seeking support – a vibrant, inclusive community.
She met Jasmin during a cultural cooking class in Zanzibar. Since then, they are working side by side: from founding Kisiwa Art Farm e.V., to the daily project work and shaping the strategic direction of the organisation. All with the clear goal of creating a center for education, creativity, and social transformation.

Line

Since volunteering with us in 2024, Line has been enthusiastic about this project and has been an active contributor to Kisiwa Art Farm! It has become a labor of love for her, and she supports it alongside her studies in physiotherapy, primarily in the areas of social media and organization.

Ulli & Dieter

As parents of project manager Lara, Ulli and Dieter are wholeheartedly committed to the organisation.
Ulli’s strength lies in networking, giving our projects a voice and inspiring others with her enthusiasm.
Dieter focuses on sponsoring, in addition to his ongoing hands-on support on the ground in Zanzibar. As a former sales professional, he works closely with Jasmin, sharing the common goal of building a long-term, sustainable financial foundation for Kisiwa Art Farm e.V.

Jana
After volunteering at Kisiwa Art Farm in 2024, Jana knew she wanted to continue being involved in this wonderful project, which had become very important to her.
Currently, while studying psychology, she primarily manages the farm's social media presence and assists with general organization.

Jule

Jule is a traveling social entrepreneur and the founder of Gypsea in Kronau, Germany. Her creativity and courage were the driving force for kicking off the project.
