January 2025: Happy Hearts Nursery School opens with space for 25 children!
At the end of last year, we joined forces and quickly established a preschool.
We're so proud to introduce this follow-up solution for our Art & Adventure Childcare children.
We are excited to announce that our non-violent education program is now available at Happy Hearts Nursery School for children as young as four! It's too bad that this isn't the norm in Zanzibar, where the cane is a common tool in many schools.
It brings us so much joy to welcome every smiling child.

March 2024: After two wonderful months, we say goodbye to Line and Jana. Our volunteers' travel report gives an honest and humorous account of their exciting time at our Kisiwa Art Farm in Zanzibar.

January 2024: We have two new volunteers at Kisiwa Art Farm: Line and Jana - karibu sana! Welcome! We're so grateful for your commitment.
December 2023: The long-awaited Art & Adventure Childcare Kindergarten is launching! A new project supervised by two teachers and a trainee, children of Sewing School participants in particular receive loving care focused on art and nature.
November 2023: Our Sewing School is entering its next phase! In addition to a beginner's course, which already started in June with young women from the village of Bwejuu, an advanced course is now beginning. The participants are girls from Sewing School 22/23 who have now completed their school education.
July 2023: Charity Day at GypSea in Kronau, Germany! We are raising money for the new projects at Kisiwa Art Farm.
June 2023: Kisiwa Art Farm e.V. now has a donation account! From now on, we can issue donation receipts.
April 2023: We did it! We are Kisiwa Art Farm e.V. - a registered, non-profit association!
March 2023: Our CFO Jasmin spent a week in Zanzibar. She stayed with our project manager Lara and visited the Kisiwa Art Farm projects.
